On Five Million resident accounts
Although I’ve been building quite a bit these past 10 days, SL concurrency seems to approach but not yet exceed 40,000. Despite the surges that keep us often in the 35,000 range throughout the week and not just on Sundays, resident accounts do just grow. And today they’ve passed the 5 million mark. Kudos to Linden Lab! My user account was created when I reacted to media coverage of the 1 million account mark just over five months ago; in that short time I’ve become “older” than about 80% of the resident accounts. Is this what it feels like to live in dog years?
